He is always our source, Jesus. 🔥
If you’ve ever suffered physically or emotionally you understand the glory of sweet relief. 💚
This moment! 😍
Reading through The Beatitudes today, thinking about how we hunt after blessings. The truth is – in order to be blessed with the things that matter – we must be emptied. 🤍
I think Elizabeth and Zachariah had their hands full as they raised this wild boy. He was walking to the beat of heavenly drum. I often wonder what was revealed to him in his wilderness days. The forerunner, making the way in the hearts of God’s people for their coming Messiah.
Mary and Joseph finally arrived home with their son, God’s son. It is in this place they would live a quiet life. It would be in the act of daily living that they poured into the One who will pour it all out. 🤍
All passages in scripture are not uplifting or easy to meditate upon. It’s important that we don’t disregard them.
Life isn’t like that- there are days, weeks, months, even years of weeping. The horrors of this passage always bring me to tears. Even worse, horrors like this are still happening in our world today.
There are days, all we can do is weep – I must believe that He weeps with us. 🤍
